Anti Submilation Paste

Anti-submilation Paste is a special ink used for screen printing.

Main function:
In screen printing, some substrates or printed products may encounter high temperatures and other conditions during subsequent processing and use, causing the dyes and other components within them to sublimate, which in turn leads to changes in the color of the printed patterns, fading or blurring. The Anti-Submilation Paste can effectively prevent the sublimation phenomenon of the printed pattern, ensuring the color stability and pattern clarity of the printed matter.

Nature and characteristics:
High-temperature resistance: It has excellent high-temperature resistance and can maintain stability within a relatively high temperature range without reducing or failing its anti-sublimation effect due to high temperatures.
Good adhesion: It can form a firm bond with various common screen printing substrates, such as textiles, paper, plastics, etc., making the printed patterns less likely to fall off or flake off.
High color vividness: It has good tinting strength by itself, which can make the printed patterns bright and full in color. Moreover, while preventing sublimation, it will not have a significant adverse effect on the color presentation.

Main component:
Binder: It is one of the basic components of anti-sublimation paste, playing a role in bonding pigments and other components together and enabling them to firmly adhere to the surface of the substrate.
Pigments: They provide the colors required for printed patterns and have good lightfastness, heat resistance and chemical stability to ensure the color quality of printed materials.
Additives: To improve the performance of anti-sublimation slurry, some special additives, such as anti-sublimation auxiliaries, are also added, which can further enhance its ability to prevent sublimation. Thickener, used to adjust the viscosity of the slurry to make it more suitable for the process requirements of screen printing, etc.

Application scope:
It is widely used in textile screen printing, such as patterns printed on fabrics like polyester and polyester-cotton blends. The use of Anti-submilation Paste can prevent the sublimation of the patterns caused by heat during the wearing and washing of the fabrics, which would affect the appearance.
It is also applicable to some paper printed products that have requirements for heat resistance, such as packaging paper and decorative paper, to ensure the color stability of the printed patterns during subsequent processing or use.
It can also be used for screen printing on some plastic products, such as plastic toys and stationery, to prevent the sublimation and damage of the printed patterns due to changes in environmental temperature or contact and friction with other objects.

Key points of printing technology:
Screen selection: Generally, the appropriate screen is chosen based on factors such as the material of the substrate and the fineness of the printed pattern. Generally speaking, for more delicate patterns, high-mesh nylon or polyester screens can be selected.
Scraping parameter control: During scraping, parameters such as scraping pressure, speed and Angle should be reasonably controlled based on factors such as the viscosity of the slurry and the tension of the screen plate to ensure that the ink can be evenly and smoothly transferred through the screen plate to the surface of the substrate, forming an ink layer of uniform thickness.
Drying and curing: After printing, the printed products need to undergo drying and curing treatment to ensure that the binders and other components in the anti-sublimation paste are fully cross-linked and cured, forming a film layer with high-temperature resistance and anti-sublimation properties. The method and conditions for drying and curing should be determined based on the specific characteristics of the paste and the material of the substrate.
